Pastor finished his year-opening series of messages this Sunday with the declaration that 2010 is our year of extraordinary enjoyment.

With all the 'extraordinaries' that Pastor has been preaching about - extraordinary insight, discernment, delight, provision, freedom, administration of justice and fulfillment - it's easy to see how enjoyable the year will be with God. But all that aside, Pastor went back to Isaiah 29 again to reveal yet another gem of insight into these extraordinary days that are before us as a people.

Reading from verse 23, Pastor explained that the word see used in that passage of Scripture (when they see their children, whom I will produce among them, they will honor my name) does not mean insight or actual sight, but 'to make to enjoy the experience'. Wow! All those things that God has been teaching us in the past few weeks come down to this one thing, the very Vision of our church: enjoyable child-bearing and child-rearing; winning souls and making disciples! God promises not only to give us a bountiful harvest of children, but to cause us to once again enjoy the experience of having them and caring for them!

Pastor finished by proclaiming Deutronomy 30:9 over our lives, and I'm excited about God outdoing Himself in giving us babies; that we'll enjoy bringing them into His kingdom and discipling them to see the next generation raised up for Christ!

Now, let this extraordinary year begin!
