DAY SIX: MONDAY 18TH – PRAYER GUIDE

“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV

  1. Take a moment and thank God for His power to create, His provision to sustain, and His presence to help. He is Almighty, All-Powerful, and cares for you personally.
  2. What limitations have you put on God as a result of your limited understanding of Him when you compare Him to what you have experienced on earth? Call upon God to renew your strength; to mount up with wings as eagles; that you may run and not grow weary, walk and not faint.

Don’t limit God’s work in your life this year by underestimating Him

DAY FOUR: SATURDAY 16TH – PRAYER GUIDE

DAY THREE: FRIDAY 15TH – PRAYER GUIDE

“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.”
Philippians 4:8‭ MSG

  1. What activities are you involved in, reflect on them in prayer. Are they leading you back to the old way of life or to the new? Make a determination to involve yourself only on those leading away from the old and towards the new.
  2. Take a look at your thought life, what do you spend your time thinking on? Is it in line with the passages above? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you bring your thoughts and meditations under His control.

Don’t Give Your Attention To That Which Will Take You Back To The Old

“BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits– Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!”
